CAFTANES GALORE OF MÉRIDA
By special arrangement with Pierre Cardin Paris, Caftanes Galore of Mérida is a special limited collection of luxury caftans crafted by The Ebersole Hughes Company from vintage Pierre Cardin scarves. Custom-sewn via a collaboration with Yucatán fashion designer Marcelo Chic, the fronts are handpicked silk squares primarily from the 1960s, 70s and 80s, now repurposed and upcycled into couture designs, each a one of a kind creation. Though a few are noted here as 100% silk, most are backed with a complementary colored 65/35 linen/cotton solid, so these bold statement garments are fully sustainable and renewable.
